BIOKINGTM Apron
Compostable and Biodegradable Disposable Food Contact Apron
DESCRIPTION
Our eco-friendly apron is made of compostable and biodegradable materials, which can be
decomposed into water, CO2 and biomass without microplastics.
Using our compostable apron can reduce the traditional plastics pollution on our environment.
It also offers waterproof, breathable protection for healthcare and food service.
It is surely the sustainable, high-performance alternative to plastic aprons.
FEATURES
u Certified Compostable: Fully decompose in commercial facilities, typically within 90-180 days, meeting international standards (EN13432, AS4736).
u Sustainable Material: Made from advanced bioplastics like cornstarch, PLA, and PBAT blends derived from renewable resources.
u High Performance: Provides a reliable, waterproof, and tear-resistant barrier against fluids, spills, and contaminants.
u Breathable Comfort: Offers improved air circulation compared to plastic, reducing heat and sweat for greater wearer comfort.
u Secure & Adjustable Fit: Features a one-size-fits-all design with long ties for a comfortable and secure fit for all wearers.
u Industry Versatile: Ideal for healthcare, food service, catering, laboratories, cleaning, and manufacturing applications.
u Regulatory Compliant: Designed to meet stringent industry safety and environmental regulations.
u Plastic-Free Alternative: Directly replaces single-use plastic aprons, significantly reducing landfill waste and supporting sustainability goals.

STORAGE
v Cool, Dry, and Well-Ventilated: Store in a cool, dry place with low humidity. Excessive moisture can activate the biodegradation process prematurely.
v Avoid Direct Sunlight and Heat Sources: Protect from direct sunlight, UV exposure, and heat sources (e.g., radiators, hot pipes). Heat and UV radiation can accelerate the breakdown of the material and weaken it.
v Keep in Original Packaging: Leave the aprons in their sealed, protective packaging until ready for use. This shields them from environmental factors like dust, moisture, and physical damage.
v Avoid Chemical Exposure: Do not store near strong chemicals, solvents, or oils that could compromise the material.
v Practice Good Stock Rotation: Follow the FIFO (First-In, First-Out) principle. Use older stock first to ensure aprons are utilized within their optimal shelf life.
