9.What is OXO-degradable plastic?
Oxo-degradable plastic is neither a bioplastic nor a biodegradable material,
but a conventional petroleum-based plastic mixed with some additive to imitate biodegradation.
Oxo-degradable plastic is first oxidized and become brittle and then fragments into microplastics,
which remain in nature forever, it can’t solve the problem of plastic waste, on the contrary, it increase more plastic pollution.
Based on this, it has been prohibited by many countries, like China and Europe.
If we really care about our nature and earth, will you use OXO-degradable plastics?!!
